Hawaii

For Thanksgiving this year we went to Hawaii with Penni and Chad. It was the most amazing thing ever. I only spent a few days there because I had to get back to school. We spend a lot of time on the beach. We went on this amazing hike. It was right on the cliffs and we had to seriously trek through rivers and over boulders and go swimming through mud holes. There were parts that if we stepped two inches off the trail we would have dropped a hundred yards into the ocean. The next day Chad took us on a helicopter ride. It was the coolest thing ever! After that we went to the caves and floated down the river. Our tour guide was so cute it drove me crazy. I think she was Logan's first crush. They flirted with each other like you couldn't believe. Flying home by myself was a little rocky. My flight got delayed and I had to spend most of the night in the airport and spent hours in L.A and Denver. Over 24 hours being in an airport will make anyone cranky. But I made it home, made it home to the -22 degree weather!

Saturday Adventures

We have been going on all sorts of Saturday adventures. This week we went to the Webster Dam. This has always been one of my favorite places. We had so much fun. We have been shooting a lot lately too so we took a few guns and got in some practice. I am getting to be a pretty dang good shot ;). Be afraid. Duke is a pansy. He got so scared we had to cover his ears. Pathetic.

Fishin'

I have been begging people to go fishing with me all summer long. For my 'birthday' present to myself I made Chelsey come. Don't worry she loved it! We even got fishing licenses to make us 'official' fisherman. That's right be proud! We went to the river and it was terrible. So don't judge us, we went to our neighbors stocked pond... But it was well worth it! We caught like 6 fish a piece! We seriously had so much fun I think we cried we were laughing so hard. Chelsey had a hard time touching the worms so I did that part. I really have a hard time touching fish. I had to wait until the fish was dead for ten minutes before I could touch it. Let's just saw we made a good team. And Duke loved it! He was a great help. I think he scared the fish to us. Good Work! I don't eat fish either... but we did. We cooked them up and ate them and they were actually dang good!

St. gEoRgE mArAtHoN

During conference weekend this year Penni, Chad, his brother and I ran the St. George Marathon. I had to miss an ethics class for this. If I don't get an A in the class this is the reason! We stayed at this amazing house. Chad ALWAYS spoils us. I wish we could have stayed longer. We spent the first day at the house and the convention center. There were so many cool shopping booths! The next morning us runners got up at 4 a.m to get to the buses on time. We loaded the school buses and rode 26.2 miles into the mountains. Oh my word I thought Idaho winter mornings were cold... I have never been so cold in my life! It was amazing to see the whole ordeal put together. They had a DJ and flags and just a hole bunch of really neat things at the starting line. There were over 7,000 people pee-ing in the trees and huddling around the heaters. I am so proud that we ran it! I can't wait for next year and the next marathon! There WILL be another one. That night after the race we went and saw Chad's show home and went to this amazing theatre in the back of this canyon. I usually don't like plays, but this was the most amazing production I have ever seen. The next morning we woke up to a worse wind store than we have at home and it rained the whole way home. I am so glad we didn't have to run a marathon in that weather.

CaLiFoRnIa Summer 09!

Right after Summer Semester got over this past summer we went to visit Penni and Chad. The first day we chilled at Penni's house and went to Chad's pool store. They truly spoil us! We went to this resort at Sea Scape and it was amazing! It was right on this amazing beach. The beach was really nice and we went boogie boarding and the waves were perfect. Dolphins and seals were like ten feet away from us. We did so many fun things! We spent a couple days in San Jose, Sea Scape, Santa Cruz, the Red Woods...., and San Francisco. We went to the Giants game and that was AMAZING. The trip was SOOO fun! We even came home with a crippled, broken nosed and ended up at the hospital!!!

The Famous Eastern Idaho State Fair!

I love the fair. I don't think you can ever get too old to go and have fun! Logan got to go do this magic show and he felt like he was on top of the world! Every year we make sure we get our Pronto Pups. It's sad when I remember the day when they cost like 75 cents and now they are almost 4 bucks... CRAZY. We watched this dog show and it was so cool! We went home and tried to teach Duke. Didn't go so hot. Duke is a retard...

I SoRrY...

I have official been labeled as a 'bad blogger.' And some people have made fun of me for doing it... BRIAN!... But I need to do better. But I'm sure this will be my New Year's Resolution that will turn out like all the others... But I will try!!

So mom and I have really gotten into biking this year. We have gone on some pretty fun adventures. So far I have seen a couple snakes, been dive-dombed by birds, run into a family of 5 raccoons, chased by a dog, been plastered by Stone Flies, and seen about a million dead mice and birds. The other day we went for our usual ride up Summer’s Hill and then decided to take a dirt road… I NEVER WILL GO DOWN THAT ROAD AGAIN!! We really struggled. We thought it was going to be like a mile difference. Try like ten. J We had to go down and up this hill that I really thought I was going to die. A few weeks later we decided to ride to Big Jud’s. It was so fun. We decided that we better ride back just because we ate so much and we needed to burn more calories! We went like 35+ miles. !!sO FuN!!

So I have been practicing my photography skills when we go on our Sunday drives.  This week was up above Warm River.  I never look very good in these pictures because I am the one that has to set the timer and run back and get settled.  It is a lot to do and look cute in 8 seconds!

This Easter we had so much fun!  Before church we colored eggs and as you can see, we did quite amazing!  Before church Mom made us sit on the porch and take pictures.  But what can we say, we are the most beautiful children!  I learned the coolest thing about coloring eggs today!  You can use any color of crayons on the eggs and it will keep its color while you dye them.  I made some pretty sweet designs!

oK hEre wE Go!

So I have not been very good at keeping up with my blog...but I am going to start doing better!  So I am going to school this semester so I have been pretty busy.  I am taking 14 credits.  I was taking a chemistry class but that didn't work out so well.  My major is Biology Ed and I think I really like it!  I have been running a lot lately and I am going to do the St. George marathon this October. SO EXCITING! :)  We have been pretty with Logan's baseball lately so that has been fun!  Wellllll that is enough about me for now!  But I am going to try really hard to do better at posting.  This is all so confusing for me!

Me Holly and Chelsey decided we would go and watch Josh and Jordan's basketball game.  They lost by a lot... to say the least :)... But it was still fun!  After, we went and hit up the half price appetizers at Applebees.
