For Thanksgiving this year we went to Hawaii with Penni and Chad. It was the most amazing thing ever. I only spent a few days there because I had to get back to school. We spend a lot of time on the beach. We went on this amazing hike. It was right on the cliffs and we had to seriously trek through rivers and over boulders and go swimming through mud holes. There were parts that if we stepped two inches off the trail we would have dropped a hundred yards into the ocean. The next day Chad took us on a helicopter ride. It was the coolest thing ever! After that we went to the caves and floated down the river. Our tour guide was so cute it drove me crazy. I think she was Logan's first crush. They flirted with each other like you couldn't believe. Flying home by myself was a little rocky. My flight got delayed and I had to spend most of the night in the airport and spent hours in L.A and Denver. Over 24 hours being in an airport will make anyone cranky. But I made it home, made it home to the -22 degree weather!

Fishin'

I have been begging people to go fishing with me all summer long. For my 'birthday' present to myself I made Chelsey come. Don't worry she loved it! We even got fishing licenses to make us 'official' fisherman. That's right be proud! We went to the river and it was terrible. So don't judge us, we went to our neighbors stocked pond... But it was well worth it! We caught like 6 fish a piece! We seriously had so much fun I think we cried we were laughing so hard. Chelsey had a hard time touching the worms so I did that part. I really have a hard time touching fish. I had to wait until the fish was dead for ten minutes before I could touch it. Let's just saw we made a good team. And Duke loved it! He was a great help. I think he scared the fish to us. Good Work! I don't eat fish either... but we did. We cooked them up and ate them and they were actually dang good!

So mom and I have really gotten into biking this year. We have gone on some pretty fun adventures. So far I have seen a couple snakes, been dive-dombed by birds, run into a family of 5 raccoons, chased by a dog, been plastered by Stone Flies, and seen about a million dead mice and birds. The other day we went for our usual ride up Summer’s Hill and then decided to take a dirt road… I NEVER WILL GO DOWN THAT ROAD AGAIN!! We really struggled. We thought it was going to be like a mile difference. Try like ten. J We had to go down and up this hill that I really thought I was going to die. A few weeks later we decided to ride to Big Jud’s. It was so fun. We decided that we better ride back just because we ate so much and we needed to burn more calories! We went like 35+ miles. !!sO FuN!!
